Fellow Fiddlers!

Looking to learn some new tunes? Interested in adding to your repertoire of techniques? Do you seek performance options in addition to participating in sessions?

We are the Minnesota Celtic Fiddlers and we'd like you to join us!

We are creating and organizing a group of musicians with a common focus to share tunes and techniques. The three of us are Scottish style players, and as such, that is what our focus will be. We plan to meet monthly to jam, and learn new tunes and techniques. We welcome players of all styles and at all levels -- we think Scottish music is so wonderful that we want to share our passion and we think you will find it as much fun and think it as beautiful as we do! We also welcome players of other instruments. We hope to bring in guest artists a couple times each year. Eventually we'll give some sort of concert and in the meantime we will support one another while we seek and share opportunities to perform at dances, ceilidhs, kitchen parties, and other smaller venues.
